New Balls Please opens new branch and welcomes Serge Deben aboard

At the beginning of this month event agency New Balls Please will be officially opening its new branch in Brussels. With Zaventem as our home base, we will be actively tapping into the Brussels and Wallonian markets. Our new colleague Serge Deben will take over the business development of New Balls Please in close collaboration with his colleagues at the head office in Ghent.

Serge Deben is no stranger to the New Ball Please team: he collaborated closely with them before, when he worked for ING as an events consultant. He gained his extensive experience, both on the customer side and in marketing and for events agencies, with such companies as Daimler, Alken Maes, Cointreau, Belfius, ING, Promo Sapiens and The Red Line.

Serge will bring our team 25 years of experience and his strategic vision in order to boost the development of New Balls Please. Spread out over two different locations both departments will work closely together as a single perfect and trilingual team on events in Belgium and abroad. In our team of 15 events addicts everyone has his own specialist field. This way, our customers can be assured that we will always deploy the best people for their event.

With the addition of Serge we will be able to expand our offering even further. In addition to our three pillars Creative Events, Content Creation and Event Design the agency will now also be able to offer Live Strategy. Managing director Michel Van Camp: ‘An event is always part of a bigger whole, of a marketing strategy or a communication plan. It has to be in line with the message the company wishes to convey. Therefore, it is of crucial importance that event projects are aligned to their strategic plans, company image and corporate guidelines. All of these play a role in maximising the results.’

Serge Deben: ‘Together with the customer, we will determine the KPIs so that we can work on achieving the desired ROI or ROE. We will help them find an appropriate vehicle for their messages, develop content and express their identity. The ultimate goal is to create an unforgettable experience for their customers or employees and to develop live entertainment that will increase their brand awareness.’
